When using the AuthNext app, the account information, including the "name" and "authentication secret", will be saved to a folder of your choice on your local computer. This data will be encrypted and saved to a .authnext file. We do not transmit this data or file to anywhere else over the internet. Additionally, the AuthNext app can be used offline.
Please note that if you specify a folder located within a cloud-drive folder, such as "iCloud Drive" or "Dropbox", the file may be uploaded to their servers during data syncing.

How can you review, update or delete the app data?
To access the .authnext file, navigate to the designated folder you selected. It is important to refrain from manually altering the content to maintain its proper format. If you wish to delete this data, first exit the AuthNext application and then remove all .authnext files from the folder. Please be aware that we do not store your data on our server, so once the files are deleted, they cannot be recovered from us.
